INKLING is a 10-minute surreal psychological horror short inspired by Scandinavian folklore. A man alone in a hotel room discovers that sounds coming from the supposedly empty room above are predicting his actions moments before they happen. The film is a slow-burn horror focused on claustrophobia, paranoia and creeping dread.

What we offer
Paid position. We have a total lighting budget of approximately €5,000, covering both gaffer fees and the required lighting equipment/rental. The exact day rate and equipment budget can be agreed together depending on the lighting package required.

Description
An experienced Gaffer / Lighting Technician with a strong eye for atmospheric, cinematic lighting. Experience with horror, psychological drama or other mood-driven narrative work is a plus.

Period
Shooting week 46 (9–15 November 2026) in Klädesholmen, Sweden, near Gothenburg. Exact shooting days within the week TBC.

Job requirements / profile
Work closely with our small creative team to develop and execute the lighting for the film. Help translate our visual references into practical lighting setups, advise us on what equipment is needed, and ideally help source/organize the lighting kit. We're looking for someone comfortable taking ownership of the lighting side of a small production.
