About me
My name is Astrid Claessen and after a far too theoretical bachelor's degree in film, TV and theatre, I now want to focus entirely on the practice of acting, instead of practicing this alongside my education. For this reason I started the evening course film and television acting at Lucidare last September. You can find my other experience below.

In addition to my considerable talent and unbridled drive to become a full-time actress, I have experience in the theory and practice of filmmaking, not just acting in it. I know a lot about the process of making a film from script to screening and I am convinced that my knowledge about film characters in themselves and in relation to the story makes me a better actress, and also easier to work with. I have insight into different camera angles, film/acting styles and genres that facilitate and give more depth to the acting process,
