European countries will announce their entries for the Best International Feature Film Award at the 99th Oscars on March 14, 2027. The deadline for submissions is November 12. Finalists will be announced on December 15, with official nominations following on January 21, 2027. New this year is that non-English language films are automatically eligible if they won the top prize at the Berlinale, Cannes, Venice, Toronto, Busan, or Sundance. The current European entries are *Dua* by Blerta Basholli (Kosovo), *How to Divorce During the War* by Andrius Blazevicius (Lithuania), and *Flood* by Martin Gonda (Slovakia). *Yellow Letters* by Ilker Çatak, *Fjord* by Cristian Mungiu, and *Shame and Money* by Visar Morina have been submitted via festival qualification.
