New Nordic Films places France at the center of the 2026 edition in Haugesund. From August 25 to 28, the festival is organizing a French Focus program in collaboration with the Institut français de Norvège, the CNC, and Unifrance. A delegation of French producers, sales agents, and distributors will participate in seminars and networking events. The central seminar covers co-production between France and the Nordic countries. Producer Guri Neby will present Morten Tyldum's Ibelin as a practical example. French Touch is expanded this year to include eight French feature films. Four French projects are participating in the Nordic Co-Production Market: Boutés, Temporary Lives, All the Softness in the World, and Borderline.
