ITV Studios recorded sharp revenue declines in the first half of this year. US revenue fell by 17 percent. Internationally, the decline was even greater: 24 percent. This is evident from the half-year extras the company published this morning. Nevertheless, the directors remain optimistic about the future. ITV Studios, producer of *Love Island* and *The Gentlemen*, is preparing for an independent position in the market. The declining extras mark a turning point after an earlier period of growth.
