CineHamburg, launched by AllScreens and HDF KINO, attracted approximately 1,700 professionals from Germany and abroad, with representatives from Disney, Warner Bros., and Vue Entertainment expressing their optimism regarding the cinema market. Nick Rush and Toby Tennant pointed to rising international ticket sales, while Gregory Theile of Kinopolis argued for a minimum release window of 60 days because the current US trend toward 46 days is too short. Immersive technologies such as ICE and IMAX gained ground among exhibitors, and Roland Emmerich, winner of the Gläserne Leinewand Award, announced that he will realize his next projects entirely using AI. The second edition is scheduled for July 13, 2027.
