The CEE Animation Forum selected 33 projects for its 14th edition, taking place in Pilsen from 10 to 12 November 2026, with the submitted projects divided into four categories: seven feature films, ten series and TV specials, ten short films, and six student short films chosen from over 160 entries. Central and Eastern European projects represent approximately 66% of the selection, with the Czech Republic and France leading the list with seven projects each. More than half of the selected projects target young-mature and mature audiences, while hand-drawn animation is the most used technique. Women represent 50% of the producers and 64% of the directors, while the Council of Europe Series Co-Production Development Award of €50,000 is being presented for the first time this year.
