The 83rd Venice Film Festival (September 2–19) announced the juries for the Orizzonti section and the Luigi De Laurentiis Award for Best First Film. Valérie Donzelli, who won the Screenplay Award in Venice in 2025 with *At Work*, chairs the Orizzonti jury, joined by Peter Becker, Elizabeth Lo, David Pablos, and Barbara Ronchi. Carolina Cavalli, who made her debut with *Amanda* and presented *The Kidnapping of Arabella* in the Orizzonti section last year, leads the First Film jury, assisted by Akinola Davies Jr. and Ted Hope.
