In the second project evaluation round of 2026, Eurimages decided to support 33 co-productions, including 3 documentaries and 4 animated films, for a total amount of €10,212,000, with 48.32% of the funding going to projects directed by women. Nikolaj Arcel receives €500,000 for My Fairytale Life, a biopic about Hans Christian Andersen, while Isaki Lacuesta receives €500,000 for Close to Me and Fernando Franco €300,000 for Lorca, which portrays the final days of Federico García Lorca. Baloji Tshiani and Kira Kovalenko each receive €400,000 for Mulatresse Solitude and Heavens Don't Care, respectively.
