On May 8, Erik Gandini and his regular editor and composer Johan Söderberg held a masterclass at the Warsaw State Ethnographic Museum, where they highlighted their 25-year collaboration using films such as *Surplus: Terrorized into Being Consumers*, *Videocracy*, *The Swedish Theory of Love*, and *After Work*. Söderberg described their approach as thematic and musical, treating material as separate islands that he composes based on rhythm and tonality, while Gandini emphasized that over-explanation via voice-over remains one of the greatest dangers in documentary. In *Videocracy*, letting go of an imposed dystopian tone proved to radically transform the film. Both defended uncertainty as the core of creative documentary.
