Norway has introduced national guidelines for filming intimate scenes, with intimacy coordinator Caroline Roka acting as the driving force behind the document she developed together with Camilla Glaister and Catrin Sagen. The guidelines, presented on March 11 in Oslo, focus on safer and more transparent working conditions when shooting involving nudity, simulated sex, or emotionally heavy material, while preserving the creative freedom of filmmakers. With this, Norway aligns itself with Finland, Sweden, Poland, and Spain, with the Finnish and Swedish models serving as inspiration for the Norwegian framework developed in 2024.
