The Marché du Film is launching two new initiatives for its 12–20 May edition. On 17 May, the Creator Economy Summit will take place at the Plage des Palmes, a half-day forum connecting traditional filmmakers with digital creators from platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, focusing on development, financing, and distribution models, with support from ABEL Studios. Additionally, the Spotlight Screenings introduce a curated series of screenings offering national film agencies a platform to present their productions to international buyers, while participating institutions benefit from reduced screening fees and the ability to retain premiere status through confidentiality options.
