Since March 16, six filmmakers have been working on their first or second feature film as part of the 51st session of the Cannes Film Festival Résidence in Paris, receiving personal guidance on their screenplays until July 31. The selection includes the Dutch Emma Branderhorst, who is working on her debut film This Will Not End Well.; the Lithuanian Saulė Bliuvaitė, who won the Golden Leopard in 2024 with Toxic; and the British Harry Lighton, who received the Un Certain Regard screenplay award last year for Pillion. Additionally, the Spanish Joecar Hanna, the Irish Oliver McGoldrick with his project Barnyard, and the Indian Mansi Maheshwari are participating in the program.
